The Women of Color Committee has established a Women of Color Committee Book Scholarship to support women of color law students whose involvement in the WBA or in their law school community has advanced the values and mission of the WOCC. The Scholarship will help to defray the cost of books and other law school course materials, which can cost hundreds of dollars and create a financial burden for some law students.
The application period will open on Wednesday, April 13th and end on Tuesday, May 31st. This year’s recipient will be announced at the WOCC’s Pioneering Women of Color event in early summer 2022.

The Women of Color Committee of the Women’s Bar Association (“WOCC”) has worked to support, provide resources to, and build community among women of color in the legal profession through programming, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
