Appellate Advocacy in the E-Filing Age: Celebrating 40 Years of the WBA

Please join us as we celebrate 40 years of WBA amicus advocacy and discuss efiling, ereaders and appellate brief writing in the electronic age.   The Hon. Elspeth B. Cypher, Associate Justice of the Supreme Judicial Court, will provide a view from the bench.  The clerks of the Supreme Judicial Court and Appeals Court will bring us up to date on revisions to the Rules of Appellate Procedure, efiling in the appellate courts and the amicus process.  We will also share strategies for coordinating amicus briefs among organizations and highlight some of the WBA’s most impactful amicus briefs.  Join us for this informative and fun event!  * CPCS approved for 2 hours for YAD, Post-Conviction, CAFL, mental health, SDP and SORB appellate panels *
