The Women of Color Committee has established a Women of Color Committee Book Scholarship to support women of color law students whose involvement in the WBA or in their law school community has advanced the values and mission of the WOCC. The Scholarship will help to defray the cost of books and other law school course materials, which can cost hundreds of dollars and create a financial burden for some law students. The application period will open on Thursday, April 13, 2023 and close on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. This year’s recipient will be announced at the WOCC’s Pioneering Women of Color event in early summer 2023.
