Judicial Pipeline

For decades, the WBA has been coaching women through the judicial application process under the purview of its Awards, Appointments and Endorsements Committee. With the creation of the Judicial Pipeline Committee (JPC) WBA members will now more easily access our invaluable guidance:

· Confidential advice from the outset of contemplating a judgeship

· Application review

· Choosing recommenders

· Mock interview

· Advice from judges

Through the JPC, the WBA, along with other affinity bar associations which share an interest in promoting a diverse bench, will also actively tap potential candidates to start considering a judgeship and charting their course earlier in their careers.

Please contact the committee chairs to request assistance with the judicial application process.
