Please join the Women’s Bar Association and Goodwin’s Women’s Initiative for a thoughtful discussion.

According to National Association of Women Lawyers' latest survey, despite significant energy on the part of many firms and individuals,

  • Women comprise only 18% of equity partners in law firms, which is only 2% higher than in 2006;

  • Women who graduated from law school in 2004 or later comprise only 38% of non-equity partners, even though women have been graduating from law school in nearly equal numbers since prior to 2004;

  • The typical female equity partner earns 80% of what a typical male equity partner earns;

  • Of the top ten most highly compensated lawyers in the typical firm, only 12% are women; and

  • The typical firm has only 22% women on its highest governance committee.

Join our panelists as they discuss how their firms' Women’s Initiatives are helping to address these gaps and drive change. The event will also include breakout discussions with subject matter experts who can answer questions about effective initiative implementation.
