"After joining Conn Kavanaugh as a junior associate in 1994, I started attending Women’s Bar Association events and I have never looked back. Some of my most meaningful friendships have been made through the WBA and its pro bono sister organization, the Women’s Bar Foundation. My WBA and WBF friends have cheered me on and supported me through 30-plus years of practicing law, including in my current role as Conn Kavanaugh’s managing partner. Conn Kavanaugh’s status as a Firm Member means that we can offer these same opportunities for collaboration and camaraderie to all of our attorneys, and to in-house attorneys at our clients who might not otherwise have a chance to attend WBA or WBF events." – Erin Higgins.

The Firm’s Macon Bolling Allen Fellowship is designed to provide a dynamic fellowship experience for a Boston-area law student with a demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in their communities and/or in the legal profession. The fellowship is to be completed as a supplement to coursework during the fall semester of the second year of law school. The program is mutually beneficial to the chosen fellow and to Conn Kavanaugh’s mission. This pathway has resulted in permanent positions for Fellows in each of the last three years!
