Our firm’s commitment to diversity and empathy is powered by our Diversity, Inclusion and Community Engagement (DICE) program. This committee’s mission is to identify critical community partnerships, sponsorships, and activities that prioritize belonging. We are proud of how the DICE team leads activities that contribute to our strong culture of inclusion, such as:

  • Strong encouragement and incentives for lawyers to undertake pro bono work that supports diversity, inclusion and community engagement – including credit towards billable hours expectations for volunteer work on DICE-related activities.
  • Our participation in the ABA’s “21-Day Racial Equity Habit Building Challenge” and “21-Day LGBTQ+ Equity Habit Building Challenge.” In both events, over the course of 21 consecutive days, the firm’s staff and lawyers read, listened and watched content aimed at increasing awareness.
  • Firm-wide volunteer events focused on diversity, inclusion and community engagement.
  • An internal two-day DEI training program to be sure everyone in our organization understands that diversity, equity and inclusion is a top priority of the organization.

Morgan, Brown & Joy attorneys also proudly participate and support a wide range of professional activities that support diversity, equity and inclusion in our communities and the broad field of law. Some of those events, activities and organizations include:
